The Energy and Environmental Ratings Alliance (EERA) is a Home Energy Ratings Provider organization accredited by the RESNET Mortgage Industry Home Energy Rating System Accreditation Committee, a nationally recognized accrediting body. EERA empowers Home Energy Raters to offer a full range of home diagnostic services to their clients, and provides Raters professional development and continuous training options.

EERA has certified the training and performance skills of private business, home energy performance diagnostics professionals in 26 states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennesse, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming. Please note that some EERA trained home energy performance diagnosticians may not have elected to become certified home energy raters.

It is the intent of the EERA to provide all of the standard services of a home energy ratings system provider, linking our services with the outstanding mortgage and finance industry connections established by RESNET and their parent organization Energy Rated Homes of America. Our primary objective however is to provide services, support, education and advocacy for private business-persons throughout the country who are trained home energy performance diagnosticians and certified home energy raters.

EERA is membership organization. We will provide tools, services, education and advocacy for causes of interest to the building performance diagnostics industry. Our services will be available to members who have been certified by the EERA and/or who have paid EERA membership dues and demonstrated a level of training and awareness consistent with the RESNET National Home Energy Ratings System Training Standards.

We welcome the participation and membership of any building energy performance diagnostics professionals who have demonstrated that they have met or exceeded the performance and awareness levels established by the RESNET Home Energy Ratings System Training standards.
