Membership
All Kansas Building Science Institute (KBSI) trained and certified home energy raters are "grand-fathered" members of EERA through the 2002 anniversary of their training/certification date. Members who renew their REM/Rate licensing through KBSI/EERA will automatically receive a renewed annual membership in EERA. Members who purchase REM/Design through KBSI/EERA will receive a free one-year membership in EERA.

EERA will welcome the membership of certified home energy raters who are affiliated with other HERS providers and of professional building performance diagnosticians who elect not to function as home energy raters. Those individuals will pay the annual membership fee of $100. If you wish to join EERA, we will need your name, company name, address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail address, name of certifying HERS provider (if applicable), and a brief paragraph describing your company and the services you offer.

Affiliate Membership
EERA will also welcome the affiliate membership of individuals (who are not trained, and/or certified in building performance diagnostics), small businesses and corporations. Fees for affiliate membership will be $50 for individuals, $150 for small businesses, and $250 for corporations (see attached KBSI/EERA Fee Schedule). Affiliate members names, addresses and contact information, and a brief descriptive paragraph, will be listed on the www.ratingsalliance.org website.
